A research expert from Keio University (Japan) identified a mysterious dust cloud based on data from two American and Japanese telescopes and named it “Tadpole”.
As the name suggests, The tadpole cloud has a strange shape compared to other cosmic dust clouds, with a giant “head”, gradually tapering to the tail. This discovery leads to something even more important: Yes who gave the cloud its tadpole shape.

Tadpole is located in a spatial area attractive to the scientific community, called “Central Molecular Region” 27,000 light years away from us, located in the center of the galaxy containing Earth, the Milky Way (Milky Way), where the famous black hole monster Sagittarius A* is located, the heart of the galaxy.
But apart from this monstrous black hole, it seems that there is still one “baby monster” hide.
Both the powerful telescope is Clerk Maxwell located in Hawaii (USA) and Nobeyama radio telescope 45 m in Nagano (Japan) found no sign of an object large enough to cause cloud distortion.
But this empty space points to another invisible thing in the universe, a black hole.
By calculating how the invisible object interacts with things around it, including the Tadpole Cloud, scientists confirmed that it must be an intermediate-mass black hole – an extremely rare object that scientists consider it a treasure because it cannot be explained.
There are two known types of black holes: Huge monster black hole like Sagittarius A* located at the center of the galaxies, same shape small stellar mass black holeis the end result of a star’s death and collapse.
Medium mass black hole has a mass somewhere between these two, and there is no known astronomical object that fits a model that leads there. In general, why it is present and how it originated remains an unanswered mystery. Scientists can only find the answer by finding as many black holes as possible.
The discovery of this rare object has just been published in a scientific journal The Journal of Astrophysics.
