A very unusual piece of data has just been discovered by scientists using data from NASA’s NEOWISE spacecraft, revealing one of the most devastating phenomena in the universe, lasting more than a year.

The main author of the new study, astrophysicist Ashristos Panagiotou from the Kavli Institute for Astrophysics and Astrophysics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (EYES – USA), describes that the light source began to appear abnormally from the year 2014 .
In 2015 it reached very high brightness and then started to revert to its previous dark state.
The scientists tried to compare other sets of data on the same airspace, collected by international survey missions. MAXI (by X-ray) and ASAS-SN (optical)which shows that the foreign object is not visible at all in these types of light.
after many analyses, they discovered “the ghost” Be light from a star swallowing black hole event (TDE) extremely cruel. In which a massive star was torn apart by the vertical tidal forces of the black hole, before being completely consumed.
“Assassin” identified as a supermassive black hole – which astronomers call monster black hole – of galaxy NGC 7392, located 137 million light-years from Earth.

This distance is only a quarter of the record distance of a previously discovered DE, meaning scientists have discovered the closest TTE event to Earth – far enough away, of course, that we can’t find it.
Specifically, it is the rare ƬDE recorded in a star-forming galaxy. It’s possible that this event still happens, but compared to older galaxies, young star-forming galaxies are often covered in thick dust, making it difficult to observe similar events.
Measurements show that this monstrous black hole has a mass of about 30 million suns.
