A piece of El-Ali, An extraterrestrial object landed in Somalia in 2020revealed new and important clues to explain the formation of asteroids.
It is elaliite and elkinstantonitetwo materials that have never been discovered anywhere on Earth or on previous space missions.
According to world news, El Ali is a giant meteorite weighing up to 15 tons, discovered in Somalia in 2020 and is the ninth largest meteorite ever recorded. It is twice as dense as common rocks on Earth and is magnetic.

“In the process of classification – describing this new type of rock for science – I found inclusions, interesting minerals, hidden inside the meteorite” – said Professor Chris Herd from the Department of Geological and Atmospheric Sciences at the University of Alberta (Canada).
Theo Science live, Both new materials are minerals, found in a 70 g slice of meteorite. Previously, the entire space rock was classified as an IAB iron-complex meteorite, dotted with small silicate blocks.
These unique discoveries will help us learn more about the parent asteroid where the meteorite originated, which could provide additional insight into the investigation of how the first objects in the universe formed.
Decoding the first asteroids also means decoding our origins, because asteroids play many roles in the history of the formation of the solar system. For example, for Earth, asteroids and comets bombard it in stages “new born” maybe these “lifestyle”bringing ocean seeds and organic matter.
