Theo Scientific alert, A new study has introduced the TOI-4603ban exoplanet slightly larger than the Solar System’s Jupiter, but 12.89 times more massive than Jupiter.
That means Its mass is equivalent to approximately 4,099 Earths combined.
“It is one of the most massive and dense planets known to date.” – wrote in the report Dr. Akanksha Khandelwal from the Physical Research Laboratory in India, lead author of the study.

What is most astonishing is how it was formed: This planet is so dense that it goes against many astronomical theories.
Earth’s density is inherently dense because our world is a rocky planet and not a gas planet like Jupiter. This planet is 3 times denser than Earth leaving scientists confused as to what might constitute it.
Theoretically, there is a limit to the mass a planet can have. Because above a certain critical limit, the temperature and pressure on the core are sufficient to trigger nuclear fusion, which is the process of mixing atoms to create heavier elements.
Limiting the mass of a planet The maximum is 10 to 13 times larger than Jupiter, but it must be a planet several times larger than Jupiter, not approximately.
Its density is equivalent to that of a brown dwarf, half-planet, half-star, formed directly from clouds of matter. Brown dwarfs fall far short of qualifying as stars, but have features that planets cannot, including self-formation from gas and dust, size and density.
However TOI-4603 is a real planet. Given the known elements on Earth, the planet could be made of lead, a dense, uniform mass of lead similar to a giant version of a cannonball. But it’s also a pretty absurd structure for the planet.
This object also shows signs of migration towards the parent starsomething our Jupiter has done in the past.
According to the authors, there are still many unanswered mysteries and scientists expect that this will bring rich data to the planetary data warehouse, as well as one day better understand it after finding more similar objects around the world.
The research has been published online and has been peer-reviewed in scientific journals. Astronomy astrophysics letters, will soon be officially published in this magazine.
