Auroras appear in many parts of the world due to the impact of solar storms, creating a whimsical scene, like a mythical movie.

In astronomy, the aurora is a rare phenomenon, and especially attracts observers because the sky then appears colorful, like a mythical film. Many people have spent effort and time “hunting” beautiful pictures of the Northern Lights.
With the solar storm affecting Earth, peaking on May 10, a team of photographers was at Hot spring white domeTo belong to yellowstone national parkwestern America, to see this beautiful moment with your own eyes.
In the photo, the hot pools act as the foreground, reflected and mixed with the magical light of the aurora appearing in the sky, forming an interesting combination.
However, the phenomenon only lasted a few hours, before being obscured by sunlight. To record the image, photographer Geoff Coalter shot in exposure mode for 8 seconds, using a Nikon Z8 camera combined with a Nikkor Z 24-70 f/2.8 lens.

is an optical phenomenon that occurs when the sky appears colored bands of light at night. The aurora includes many bands of colors ranging from white, green, blue to pink and purple, but the most common are green and blue.
Auroras occur according to the cycle of the Sun and usually take place in late fall, early spring. It is formed by the interaction of energetic charged particles from the Sun with molecules in the Earth’s atmosphere.
From a scientific point of view, this phenomenon has a negative impact on our planet, causing the erosion of the ozone layer.
An international research team has found that the impact of isolated proton auroras creates a nearly 400 square kilometer hole in the ozone layer, causing most of the ozone to disappear in about two hours.
According to scientists’ warnings, the Northern Lights can cause problems with some operating satellites and underground electrical infrastructure. Charged particles are also a danger to astronauts on missions in space.
