According to Space, this strange object came from an event on Mars, perhaps an impact or ejection from Mars, and it fell to Earth 11 years ago.
New research led by Dr. Philippe Schmitt-Kopplin of the Technical University of Munich and Helmholtz Munich (Germany) shows that It really is a strange object in the literal sense of the word.because it has a very particular composition compared to other meteorites ever found on earth.
The object fell in Morocco 11 years ago

Specifically, they found polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon compounds, organic magnesium compounds, branched aliphatic carboxylic acids, aldehydes and olefins in the meteorite.
This strange object, called Tissint, is one of 5 valuable Martian meteorites discovered on Earth.
The organic molecules it contains not only offer a chance for extraterrestrial life, but the way this meteorite was created also reveals many very new details about this planet.
Of particular interest is organic magnesium molecules, which have never been discovered before, even by NASA robots working on Mars. These molecules provide new insights into the high-temperature, high-pressure geochemistry that shaped Mars’ interior layers, as well as the link between the carbon cycle and the evolution of these minerals.
“Understanding the processes and chains of events that formed this rich organic resource will reveal new details about the habitability of Mars and the possibility of reactions that could lead to the formation of life.” – said co-author Andrew Steele from the Carnegie Institute (USA).
This discovery also helps the authors complete the catalog of what constitutes Mars, a planet that would have originated like Earth. This data both helps to better understand the Earth itself and also provides a good direction for future missions to Mars.
Researchers continue to learn more about Morocco and meteorites “treasure” It contains, and also looks forward to, another piece of the puzzle that NASA promises to bring back from Mars in the coming years: soil and rock samples directly from the Red Planet that the agency’s robots are collecting.
The study has just been published above Scientists progress.
