ESA’s Ariane 5 rocket was due to launch today, June 16, but was canceled for technical reasons..
Ariadne 5 – heavy missiles produced under the authority of the European Space Agency (ESA) and the National Center for Space Research (CNES) is scheduled to be launched on June 16 at the Guiana Space Center in France.

However, unexpected technical reasons caused the launch to be postponed.
Theo Arianespacethe French aviation company and mission manager, it seems that a key function of the Ariane 5 rocket did not meet safety requirements.
“We discovered concerns about the three fuel lines in the engine part of the Ariane 5 rocket.”said an Arianespace representative. “Other components such as the launch pad, the satellite… are still in a stable and safe state.”
We know that Arianespace engineers will verify the problem before making an announcement on the next target. According to some experts, most likely, the launch will be postponed until the end of June.

Ariane 5 is a heavy rocket designed to launch satellites and other heavy objects into geostationary or low Earth orbit. According to the ESA, it is a very reliable missile with an affordable launch cost.
Launched in 1996, the Ariane 5 rocket has to date more than 100 successful launches into orbit, reaching an impressive success rate of 95.4%. Among them are a number of notable missions, including the 2004 mission to chase Comet Rosetta, or a partnership with NASA to orbit the James Webb Space Telescope in December 2021.
Since its first version, Ariane 5 has been improved in successive versions, in particular: “G”, “G+”, “GS”, “ECA” and more recently “ES”. This system has a dual launch capability, in which up to 2 communication satellites can be placed on the geostationary belt.
Ariane 5 is expected to have its last launch, before being replaced by Ariane 6 later this year. For this reason, the launch of Ariane 5 is particularly appealing to space science enthusiasts, as it marks the end of one of Europe’s most powerful and reliable rockets.
