Loeb supports openness in the scientific community regarding UFOs and extraterrestrial theories. Last year he founded the Galileo Project to build a global network of telescopes and cameras to capture high-resolution UFO images. He once shared that people can see such images “within two years.”
In the new study, Loeb and Ezell also point out that the new observatories will improve their ability to image “Oumuamua” objects. For example, the Vera C. Rubin Observatory, which is expected to operate next year, will be equipped with a 3.2 billion-pixel camera to monitor the entire southern sky every four days.
