In research published on January 24 on the Arxiv platform, managed by Cornell University (United States), two scientists Gia Dvali and Zaza Osmanov hypothesized that extraterrestrials were creating black holes to achieve quantum storage. According to the research, they said it could explain Fermi paradox.
Basically, the Fermi Paradox talks about the contrast between the lack of evidence of extraterrestrial civilizations and the possibility of extraterrestrials. This paradox has sparked much controversy within the scientific community, particularly among those who believe that extraterrestrial life exists and is just waiting to be discovered.
In the study, two scientists showed that black holes have the highest information storage capacity. Therefore, advanced civilizations in the universe likely created black holes using these elements. the quantum computer is superior.
“Studies by scientist Dvali in 2021 show the validity of universal quantum field theory for the information storage capacity of a device that can be composed of corresponding quanta. Objects These finitely saturated objects are called saturons, which are efficient quantum information stores. Among all possible Saturon hypotheses, black holes have the highest information storage capacity (Dvali 2021)”cited in the study.
Research published on the arXiv platform has not yet been peer-reviewed, an important step for recognition by colleagues in the scientific community. Currently, people still rely on radio signals to search for signs of life in the universe.
However, the above researchers also suggested that black holes should be approached as if an extraterrestrial civilization created them, rather than just a natural phenomenon. In it they highlighted the black hole hypothesis “giant quantum computers” to store data, and an advanced civilization in the universe has the ability to create it.

According to these same researchers, simply finding evidence of technological signatures inside a black hole is enough to prove the possibility that an advanced civilization created it. What’s more, humans already have the technology to do this when researchers announced that the IceCube neutrino observatory in Antarctica has the ability to detect technological signs in black holes.
In the 1980s, astrophysicist Roger Penrose first proposed the concept of a black hole, claiming that it was an infinite source of energy. Although unlikely, the researchers agreed that small black holes could be created artificially, acting as capacitors for quantum information.
Of course, this is just one potential proposal that humans can make in their search for extraterrestrial life. According to BGR, although it is considered a bit “crazy”, it is still a direction that astronomers and astrophysicists can explore.
